Just tears here, Shelly, but not of sadness, of joy for seeing how God has created you as A Powerful Gift in this World, like Jesus Is His Gift In This World.

Thank you so much for taking time to share your testimony, Shelly!

Though I knew you had a story, I never knew what it was. God has touched my heart greatly through you, my friend. May He continue to use the amazingly beautiful vessel that He has created from the broken, yes, even shattered, pieces of your past. You are LOVED, ACCEPTED, TREASURED beyond what you will ever know! And that is just among us women here on Earth. I pray for His continued outpouring of love, healing, and blessings on you and your family.

I’m so moved by your story…it brought me to tears. It’s amazing how some of us go through so much pain and hurt when we are young and don’t understand why. Until that day comes when God reveals to you, the true “reason”…to allow your personal journey to bless the lives of others!

    Thank you so much Shelly.

Shelly I already knew your story but cried for your little girl again as I relived the first telling. I truly think it miraculous that you emerged from all that sane. Not only sane but with a purpose to help other women. I know you have told me that the women at the church where your adopted dad placed you for school are owed much of the credit for bringing you through the turbulent teen years. I know that God was truly working through them and deserves the credit for transforming you from a ‘throw away girl’ to the woman You are today. That woman is a wife and a mother and a minister to others and also “one smart cookie”. Glory be to God! Just know you have always had a fan here since I first met you. You are precious not only to God but to his people.

Praise God for VICTORY and PURPOSE! Shelly, you are such an asset to God’s Army! I know He has touched many women through you but there are MANY MANY more He has for you to minister to! To God be the Glory….GREAT things He has done….and continues to DO!
I’m so sorry for what you had to endure but rejoice with you that GOD has healed and restored you and is using you to HIS GLORY!
    xoxo Kathleen

I’ve been sitting here for twenty minutes… I’m at a loss for words, so I’ll just say thank you, give you a hug and hold you up to Him.

What a powerful testimony. Thank you so much for sharing your story. I often compared my story to the life of Joseph also. I wasn’t a throw away child but I grew up with low self esteem. I made lots of bad choices especially where men are concerned. My last choice in a man cost me my 6 year old son. He was murdered at the hands of my ex-husband. The battles God carried me through and the events in my life were very painful and I couldn’t understand why I had to go through some of the things I had to go through. Neither did Joseph. But just like you said, God always has a better plan. He knows those who will take their tragedy’s and turn them into tools to help others. I am a friend of Alecia. She contacted me after seeing my book on Tate Publsihing website. If you would like to see more of my story you can visit my website at yvonnejonesbooks.com. God bless you Shelly and I’m so thankful you have a new life.
