An Update from Shelly...
As the fall season descends upon us, I am super excited about this year's fall/holiday line. It is sophisticated while still being fun and "everyday" wearable. I wanted to let you guys in on a secret… My favorite part of this business is seeing the designs in my head, come to life in real, wearable pieces that I can share with everyone. Some pieces are huge successes and others, not so much, but that's part of the fun; learning what works and what doesn't and taking that information to create better lines each season. Therefore, the 2018 Fall/Holiday line is, hands down, my favorite line to date and I am so hoping everyone else loves it too. Enjoy perusing our new Look Book and checking back often as we roll out all these great new pieces over the next couple of months.
On another, more serious note, I wanted to share with my loyal customers & friends of a change coming to Shelly Brown… As my five children get older and become involved in more and more activities, I find my time being pulled in many different directions. After MUCH thought, reflection, and soul searching, I feel led, at this time, to put 100% of my focus and time on my children and family during this season of our lives. So, it is with excitement but also with a very heavy heart that I let you all know I will be taking a leave of absence from designing and selling jewelry. This 2018 fall/holiday line will be the last new Shelly Brown line for a while. My team will continue communicating with you all through our website, email, and social media to keep you informed on the remaining new product launches and any future notable dates.
I can't tell you how much your love and support of my company and creations means to me. I treasure each and every one of you who have ever bought a piece, shared a picture, commented on a style, supported or helped with pop up shops, and so on. It is truly you guys who make this a fabulous experience and successful business.
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!
Designer & Philanthropist
From crafting her own childhood jewelry, to designing and hand-sewing prom and wedding dresses for friends, Shelly's creative talents were honed from an early age. While studying art history, Shelly made the switch to a design degree to focus on her true passion. She developed a deep appreciation for jewelry design, inspiring her to learn the intricacies of the craft as an apprentice under a master jeweler.
